A genuine bid for connection always asks for your time -- anything that leaves you decoding rather than answering is a breadcrumb.

Three examples of genuine bids: "I think we should talk. Can we meet up?" / "I've been reflecting on us. Would you be open to talking about what happened?" / "I miss what we had. Do you think we could try again?"
The key test: a genuine bid requires a yes-or-no answer from you; a breadcrumb leaves you with more questions and nothing to respond to.
Do not anxiously decode -- step into security, answer from where you actually are, and show up in that moment.
