How To Break Your "GENERATIONAL CURSE" Once And For All¶

There are no generational curses, only "generationally misdirected energy" - repeating patterns passed down through your subconscious. You break the cycle by examining and realigning the beliefs, identity, attention, emotional convictions and thoughts you inherited, and by shifting your vibration from the "curse" side to the "fortune" side.
Key points¶
What a generational curse really is
- The common idea is that an external entity (a witch, the devil, evil eye) has trapped your family in a repeating reality. Nero says this is the wrong frame, and that if you can drop it your cycle "ends today."
- He does not deny witchcraft/the supernatural outright (he notes he is Zimbabwean and takes it seriously), but says "more often than not" what looks like a curse is generationally misdirected energy, i.e. a misdirected frequency.
- Your "frequency" is the product code of the reality you experience - like a radio tuned to a station, or an Amazon product code the universe "warehouse" matches and ships back.
- Frequency is made of five things: your beliefs, your identity, your attention, your emotional convictions, and your thoughts. Ancestors unconsciously passed these down.
- He invokes epigenetics, claiming you can carry the memories of up to 14 generations of ancestors, expressed through gene expression, so a "moody" or negativity-seeking disposition is really inherited misalignment (the video names no specific study).
Who actually curses you
- "Nobody can bewitch you without your mental permission." More people are cursed by themselves than by any witch, devil or demon.
- You can't hold both that you create your own reality (you are God over your world) AND that an outsider can override it - pick one. Even projected negative energy can be transmuted and redirected.
- "You make the laws of your reality": nothing is true in your world until the subconscious mind accepts it as true. If you believe you can, you're right; if you believe you can't, you're right.
- Example he leans on: beliefs told to Black people (life is harder, you must work twice as hard, the world is against you) become real once the subconscious accepts them, because you then output a matching frequency and attract matching experiences. His test: "If a belief doesn't serve you, it's there to control you" - examine every belief.
- Before yourself, the people who cursed you are your parents: they had access to your subconscious mind (the "womb of reality") and loaded it with limiting beliefs ("money doesn't grow on trees," "know your place," "who do you think you are"). Until you can self-analyze and question those inherited beliefs, you will become your parents.
- Provocative framing: "your parents have more power over your reality than God." His God is not a personified sky-figure but an impersonal high-frequency energy (like electricity or gravity) that observes rather than dictates - so the active shaping force was your parents' imprint. (Cites Acts 10:34 "no respecter of persons" and Isaiah's "I form the light and create darkness.")
Breaking and transmuting the curse
- The fix is self-inquiry: audit your beliefs, identity, attention, emotional convictions and thoughts and get all five into alignment with your desired reality. He calls this a "reality profile." Most people fail manifestation by fixing only one and leaving the others misaligned, so the frequency they broadcast is confused.
- Reframes: "money curse" is really a poverty consciousness; "relationship curse" is a toxic perception of relationships you've normalized and then labeled a curse.
- Uses the law of polarity / duality: good and bad, rich and poor, curse and fortune are the SAME energy differing only in rate of vibration - like ice and steam are the same substance at different vibration. A curse is just continuous bad luck vibrating low.
- To move from the curse side to the fortune side, change your vibration by changing your concentration - stop fixating on being trapped and the repeating loop; deliberately find and focus on the aspects of fortune. Flip the curse internally first, then act.
- First step is to detach and reclaim power: return to "I AM," the formless principle you then mold into the reality you want, and decline the notion that you are cursed.
- Aside on luck: in the Hermetic tradition there is no chance, only higher understanding; events are synchronicity for the awakened, coincidence for the asleep. He ties this to quantum entanglement / oneness ("nonduality") as his metaphor for interconnection.
- Closing metaphor for anime fans: Jujutsu Kaisen depicts how negative energy circulates, builds momentum and stacks frequency until it becomes a curse - the same mechanism he describes, and the same thing you must break.
Reception¶
- Overwhelmingly glowing; many call it the clearest, most complete breakdown of these concepts they've found and say the channel deserves millions of subscribers.
- The most-quoted "bars," repeated across dozens of comments: "If your beliefs don't serve you, they're there to control you," "You're trapped in a prison not realizing the door ain't got no lock," "Nobody can bewitch you without your mental permission," and "There is no truth in your reality until your subconscious mind has accepted it as true."
- The parents/upbringing angle hit hardest. Several shared personal stories - a 34-year-old raised on "no one loves you like we do" describing the isolation of a narcissistic household, and a viewer who says she broke a three-generation disease pattern via mindset and meditation, crediting epigenetics.
- Recurring agreement framed through other teachers: Neville Goddard's "no one to change but self," "as you think, so shall you be," and "when the student is ready, the teacher appears."
- A widely-liked top comment praised Nero for being deeply spiritual without "special" clothing or language and unbothered about dropping the n-word; Nero replied that he built himself as a deliberate contradiction so those who can't handle it self-select out.
- Little pushback in the sample; response is mostly gratitude, personal resonance, and people tagging themselves as the "black sheep" meant to break the cycle.
