NEVER Be the Nice Guy - Do THIS Instead to Attract Her!¶

The speaker argues against being the "nice guy" and for being "half bad, half nice" - mostly neutral with occasional kindness - so that your kind gestures stand out and feel high-value.
Key points¶
- Three options: the nice guy (fails, reaches the friend zone), the bad boy (women chase him but constant breakups), or the "half bad half nice" man who makes a woman fall deeply in love.
- The white dot / black dot model. The brain fixates on exceptions. A man who is always kind (white page) gets no credit, and his one mistake (black dot) defines him. A man who is normally indifferent (black page) gets praised for one good deed (white dot). Be the black page that occasionally shows white.
- Behaving neutrally reads as confidence and high value; then your occasional kindness becomes a memorable exception that grows her attraction.
Point 1 - Attention (5 situations)
- Give/withhold attention based on who caused the emotion. (1) She feels negative emotion because of you (jealous, you upset her): give attention. (2) You feel negative emotion because of her (she's with another guy, posts a smoking photo): do not give attention, but don't show anger - act unaffected. (3) She feels positive emotion because of you: do not pile on more attention; balance is mandatory (e.g. after an expensive dinner, don't text goodnight - "just disappear"). (4) You feel positive emotion because of her (attractive outfit, a gift): give attention. (5) Her mood is unrelated to you (work, family): stay neutral; rushing to cheer her up puts you in the "therapy zone" where she dumps every problem on you.
Point 2 - Requests
- Direct orders ("hold this," "buy me something") are often tests. Refuse inconvenient ones calmly; for harmless ones, accept on your own terms (e.g. "take our picture" -> "okay, but give me your best silly sexy gangster face"). This shifts the power dynamic.
- Indirect requests expressing feelings ("I love the beach," "I love burritos") should be handled by delaying: note it, then surprise her weeks later. This shows you listen without appearing eager or submissive, and keeps you unpredictable.
Reception¶
- Mixed; the loudest response was a request for a follow-up on how to ask a girl out without seeming desperate, heavily upvoted.
- Significant pushback on the premise: many argued you should just "be yourself," be kind rather than performatively nice, and that acting the asshole leads to a toxic, unhappy spiral; some said let the woman do the chasing instead of strategizing.
- Supporters credited the video with giving balance and clarity that vague "red pill" bad-boy advice lacks, calling it reasonably well thought out.
- One viewer's personal arc was widely noted: giving no attention worked for casual dating, but giving lots of attention when seeking a real relationship "never works out."
- The top-voted comment was a condensed six-mistake checklist others used as a summary.
