  • Core claim: Jesus Christ is not a man born of a woman 2,000 years ago; he is a "pattern man" or secret buried in the Old Testament (the 39 books), which are a prophetic blueprint of his life.
  • The Old Testament is the root; the New Testament is only its fulfillment. The whole Bible, though written over centuries by many hands, carries a single "jet of truth" - God's promise to man, called Jesus Christ.

The resurrection of the pattern within a person

  • When the scattered fragments of scripture suddenly gather into one pattern in a person, that person resurrects Christ in himself and realizes he is that secret - "He rises in me and I am he."
  • The unfolding takes 1,260 days (3.5 years, using the 360-day Hebrew year), a figure Neville codes from Daniel chapter 12 and Revelation chapter 12 ("a time, times, and half a time"). Daniel was told to seal the book until the end.
  • Neville describes four "supernatural events" he says he personally experienced over that span: (1) awakening sealed inside one's own skull and being born out of it, amid an unearthly Pentecost wind; (2) the father revealing himself when God's son stands before you and calls you father; (3) the fiery serpent (Moses' staff) rising within into the heavenly spheres, a cure from slavery/Egypt into the promised land; (4) the dove of Noah's flood descending and remaining upon you in love, with you as the ark that contains all things (all things existing within human imagination).
  • Neville says he is now conscious of being the father of the David of scripture, and cites Psalm 89 - David calls him "my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation." My Lord is how a son addresses his father.

Consequences and the wider argument

  • Everyone comes into the world for one purpose: to fulfill scripture. Worldly fortune, office, and fame drop away at death - illustrated with recent deaths of a three-time New York governor (who ran twice for the presidency), a man leaving 300 million, and J.C. Penney ("Cash Penny"), Neville's first US employer.
  • The Abraham allegory (Galatians): the promise is to one offspring, "who is Christ"; scripture explicitly calls the Abraham story an allegory, a story told as if true, leaving the hearer to accept or reject it.
  • His wife's vision: two women present books titled "the credence of belief and the forgiveness of sin" according to Judaism and according to Christianity. It revealed Christianity is far harder - Judaism restrains the outward impulse and keeps external observances, but Christianity counts the inner imaginal act itself as the deed ("anyone who looks lustfully has already committed adultery in his heart"). We live in a world of imagination; the imaginal act is fact and advances into the future to confront us.
  • Christ comes from "above" and "within" (equated in scripture), never from "below" or "without." TV preachers waiting to shake his hand when he arrives from outside will wait in vain.
  • The New Testament authors (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul) are anonymous names with no non-scriptural historical record; Neville frames them as simple, unknown men in whom the pattern erupted, making the nativity the birth of Christianity / a new age rather than of a physical Christ.
  • Two witnesses agree: the external written witness of scripture and the internal living witness of the spirit, confirming after the event that you are the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • After the pattern unfolds you enter eternity, incorporated into the one body of the living God; the promised son given to you is God's own son, meaning God gives you himself. Neville urges holding fast to this faith; it comes "like a thief in the night," suddenly and unpredictably.
