Have you seen these signs? Let me know and I'll try to address them in the comments¶

An avoidant who misses you will show it indirectly and inconsistently rather than saying it, because naming the feeling requires vulnerability they resist.
Key points¶
- They check in without direct contact: watching your stories, asking mutual friends, liking old posts -- staying informed while avoiding the risk of vulnerability.
- They run hot and cold when they do reach out: engaged one day, distant the next, wanting connection and distance simultaneously.
- They revisit memories unprompted -- people don't accidentally revisit emotional memories; something is still emotionally unresolved for them.
- Their biggest tell is doing everything except saying they miss you (sending a meme, reacting to a story) -- saying it outright would mean identifying and facing what they feel, which is too much of an ask.
